The definition of 'magic' by Jon Logan

I have heard all of these things defined as magic by different individuals, and I suppose all of them are 'true' definitions, as
all of them are real phenomena:

A: Anything you happen to see happening when you don't understand what is happening (my favorite).

B: The practice of, either through contract or coercion, inducing non-corporeal entities (most often elementals, but very rarely
actual beings) to do your bidding.

C: The use of focused application of mental and emotional energy, driven by will, to accomplish a given task.

D: Any conscious application of the laws of metaphysics, as opposed to the laws of physics, from within the physical plane of existence.

E: the use of any device, ritual, or technique which constitutes one or more of the former.

F: The practice of drawing energy down from higher planes of existence to lower ones.

G: Just about anything you do in the exercise of your divinity which changes anything.

Using 'outside universal power' is a bit different than using 'outside power' which comes through the 'hands' of another entity. In fact, if you are wise and most often use your own 'power', then you are constantly drawing fresh 'universal power' through yourself to replace what you have used, or you would in short order completely cease to exist.
