Higher frequencies can be obtained but the duty cycle starts to increase once the frequency gets close to 100kHz. Units are powered with 9 volt battery. An adapter power input can be included. Base Price - 190.00 Circuit comes mounted in a funky clear blue plastic enclosure and comes standard with 9v battery power and DC adapter power jack. Adapter power jack is a standard 2.1mm Canon style. There are two switches on the unit - one for power and one for frequency setting. Also an LED on the circuit board indicating output is active. Also included is a test button on the circuit board to test the circuit for proper operation at frequencies over 25 Hz. Circuit is protected from accidental adapter polarity reversal and the IC is socketed for ease of replacement in case of IC failure. The circuit output is set for maximum output at the same time maintaining reasonable battery power consumption. Using DC adapter power gives increased output over 9 volt battery power. Frequency tuning is done via multi-turn trim pots for fine tuning control. Circuit has output jack (3.5 mm mono) and an line in jack (3.5mm mono) to bypass the signal generator and run from an outside signal of 5W max. These units can also be made to have a course adjustment and a fine adjustment for tuning upon the user request if they will be tuning them on their own. This is an extra option available upon request.

The binaural technique employs two pure tones, one of which is detuned or offset from the other by a small amount resulting in an ELF (extremely low frequency) beat frequency which is in the range of brain function frequencies. We apply one pure tone pitch or frequency to one ear and the other pure tone pitch (offset by a predetermined frequency) to the other ear. This effect is best applied using stereo headphones, although it can work with a wide field stereo speaker setup and (the user) sitting in the middle of the speaker's stereo field. The brain receives the auditory input from each ear, then calculates the difference of the two frequencies and creates the beat frequency within the brain itself. The brain will then entrain or resonate at the beat frequency. For example: 10 Hz has been noted to create a hypnotic effect on the brain. So then one would use a frequency of say 432 Hz as a base reference tone and the second offset frequency of 442 Hz or 422 Hz ( +/- 10 Hz) to create the 10 Hz beat frequency that the brain will resonate at. The
Standard Zappers are simple
Clark style Zappers. The
standard frequency is 15 Hz. I can make the circuit frequency to your requirements
upon request. Frequencies can be in
the range from 1 Hz to ~250kHz. Enquire

The DFMC-1

Cost of Modifications and options over and above basic unit is based on parts
and labor. These driver circuits come with
two frequency settings tuned to customer specs upon request. Frequency ranges
from 1 Hz up to approx. 200kHz. Frequencies
above 100kHz start to have increased duty cycle. If this is a concern then
frequency choices should be made below 100kHz.
